πŸ“ Strawberry Season Has Arrived

Hey there,

When I spotted the first truly red, fragrant strawberries at the market this week, I couldn't resist bringing home more than we probably need. Every year, I look forward to these first spring berries - they're a promise that winter is truly behind us, and their bright flavor tastes like sunshine to me.

"Doubtless God could have made a better berry, but doubtless God never did." - William Butler, 17th century writer

In that spirit here are 5 of my very favorite, strawberry-starring recipes.

🌟 Recipe of the Week: Strawberry Crepes
Light, delicate crepes filled with fresh strawberries and a touch of sweetness - these are spring on a plate. The crepe batter comes together in minutes and actually benefits from resting, making this perfect for leisurely weekend mornings or dessert that will everyone smile.

  • Difficulty level: Medium
  • Prep time: 15 minutes active (plus resting time)
  • Perfect for: Letting peak-season strawberries really show off.

Hey there, It felt like forever to come up with homemade gyro meat that I thought worthy of sharing with you, but I finally cracked it. This version is literally no-fail - you mix everything in a food processor, shape it into a loaf, and bake. No special equipment, no bricks, no spinning rotisserie, no wondering if you're doing it right. The result tastes a whole lot like what you'd get at a good Greek restaurant, but you know exactly what's in it. Served over rice with all the classic...

Happy Sunday, Friends. This week: How to make rich, buttery brioche without any kneading (and why your freezer is about to make you happy). "There is something profoundly satisfying about sharing a meal. Eating together, breaking bread together, is one of the oldest and most fundamentally unifying of human experiences." - Barbara Coloroso I had the pleasure of talking with Chowhound journalist Sarah Moore about dough hydration (if you're interested in bread making, you'll love this article)....

Hey there, Opening the refrigerator to find that container of Greek yogurt is like spotting an old friend (or 5 of them, haha - scroll to the bottom to see what I mean): reliable, versatile, and always ready to improve whatever you're making. This week, I'm sharing my favorite savory ways to use this kitchen staple. Greek yogurt isn't just for breakfast parfaits or smoothies, it brings creaminess, tang, and protein to everything from dips to salads to main dishes, often with fewer calories...
